TFC's Client Service team oversees all aspects of portfolio administration including the monitoring and administration of client accounts and quarterly client reporting.

Jane Taubner Barney, JD, CFP®, Senior Client Advisor
Jane Taubner Barney joined TFC Financial Management in 2007, and is a participant of the firm's Financial Planning and Investment Committees. She provides comprehensive financial planning and investment advisory services for a select number of the firm's clients.
Prior to joining TFC Financial Management, Ms. Barney was a client service manager for Canby Financial Advisors, where she prepared financial plans and statements, conducted investment research, and made investment recommendations. Previously, she worked for MetLife Financial Services, where she prepared comprehensive financial plans, wrote recommendations, and conducted training classes for financial planners.
Ms. Barney is a graduate of New England Law | Boston and received her bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Management from Russell Sage College. She is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner and a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association.
Ms. Barney is President of the Massachusetts Association of Women Lawyers and is a flutist in the Southeastern Philharmonic Orchestra. She has appeared as a host and guest on the Massachusetts Association of Women Lawyers' television program, "The Legal Line," discussing topics from life and disability insurance to financial, investment, and retirement planning.
Kathleen A. Chianca, CFP®, Vice President
Kathleen Chianca joined TFC Financial Management in 1995, and is a participant of the firm's Financial Planning and Investment Committees. She works directly with many of TFC's clients in all areas of the financial planning process, specializing in cash flow analysis and budgeting.
Ms. Chianca brings to TFC the knowledge and experience gained through years of operating a bookkeeping service for a wide variety of businesses, including law firms and real estate management entities, as well as high-net-worth individuals.
Ms. Chianca is working toward a bachelor's degree at the University of Massachusetts Boston in Women's Studies and Gerontology. Additional education includes courses sponsored by the Insurance and Financial Services Institute at Northeastern University. She is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner.
Corey H. Peterson, CFP®, Associate Advisor
Corey Peterson joined TFC Financial Management in 2009, and is a participant of the firm's Financial Planning and Investment Committees. He provides comprehensive financial planning and investment management support to the firm's clients.
Prior to joining TFC Financial Management, Mr. Peterson was an Associate Financial Planner at G.W. & Wade, where he provided support relative to asset management, income tax management, estate planning, charitable planning, and debt management. Previously, he worked for John Hancock where he managed an investment and insurance practice.
Corey is a graduate of Suffolk University and a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner. He has successfully completed the Series 7, and Series 66, as well as the Massachusetts Life, Accident and Health Insurance exams. Corey serves on the Finance Committee of the SAMFund and has volunteered as a Financial Coach through Dana-Farber's Patient Outreach and Family Assistance Office.
Leann N. Sullivan, CFP®, Vice President
Leann Sullivan joined TFC Financial Management in 2001. She is a participant of the firm's Financial Planning and Investment Committees and provides financial planning and investment advisory services for a select number of the firm's clients.
Prior to joining TFC Financial Management, Ms. Sullivan was a wealth management advisor for Legg Mason Wood Walker, where she worked with high-net-worth clients to develop and implement comprehensive financial plans. She also provided direction relative to estate planning, charitable planning, risk management, asset management, debt management, and tax management.
Ms. Sullivan previously spent seven years working at Merrill Lynch advising affluent executives regarding stock options, college planning, and retirement planning. Plans that she developed generally included analysis of net worth, asset allocation, and investment strategies.
Ms. Sullivan graduated from Fairfield University in Connecticut, where she received B.S. degrees in finance and marketing. She is a member of the Boston Estate Planning Council and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner.
Nicole M. Somers, Client Service Administrator
Nicole Somers joined TFC Financial Management in 2006. She is a member of our portfolio administration team. Her responsibilities encompass daily account administration, portfolio accounting/reconciliation of client portfolios, and client meeting preparation.
Prior to joining TFC Financial Management, Ms. Somers spent 10 years as an operation/accounting assistant for Welch and Forbes LLC.
Ms. Somers received her associate's degree in business management from Newbury College.
Edmund T. Welch IV, Senior Client Service and Compliance Administrator
Edmund T. Welch IV joined TFC Financial Management in August 2010 as a Senior Client Service and Compliance Administrator. He works with client advisers, assists the investment operations team, and supports daily and periodic investment reporting. Mr. Welch also assists with client meeting preparation and oversees many aspects of the firm's compliance process.
Prior to joining TFC Financial Management, Mr. Welch was employed by FundQuest Inc. for 8 years as both an Operations Specialist and most recently Senior Operations Analyst. He provided pricing and performance analysis, data management, and sought improvements for greater operational efficiency. He has extensive customer service experience with both New England Securities Brokerage and the former SunLife of Canada's Annuity division. Mr. Welch began his career enforcing Margin trading and investment practices at Advest Inc. in Hartford, CT.
Mr. Welch graduated from Providence College with a B.A. in English, and concentrations in Business Management and the Development of Western Civilization.
Constance H. Wyllie, Director of Client Service and Operations
Constance Wyllie has been with TFC Financial Management since 1985. She oversees all aspects of portfolio administration, trading, and quarterly client reporting, including supervision of the firm's portfolio accounting and trading systems. As a participant of TFC's Investment Committee, she is responsible for the accurate and timely implementation of the committee's strategic decisions. She also provides client relationship support.
Ms. Wyllie is a member of the Advent Users Group (AUG), a forum designed to facilitate information-sharing between users of Advent Software's portfolio management and trading applications.
Ms. Wyllie received her Financial Paraplanner Certificate from The College of Financial Planning, and is a graduate from Becker College. Her education also includes courses sponsored by The American College taken at the Insurance and Financial Services Institute at Northeastern University.
